| Brief description of project | The purpose of designing this building is to revitalize the city. Having a lib as its center, the building offers the citizens who use its facilities various opportunities such as to exchange information or knowledge. The roof largely emerging from this complex is an icon of a server that collects and provides information, and its form expresses sense of togetherness. Allowing access from various directions to the building and having a spacious plaza in front that is connected to the station will strengthen the tie between the city and people. The building is covered with the glass wall with several vaulted ceilings, which creates sense of openness, “see or be able to be seen” to/from most places. |
