　●Brief description of project A lush green environment was created by planting species indigenous to the Setagaya area, under the theme of "A Residence Surrounded by Greenery" and "The Restoration of Setagaya's Original Scenery." The architecture is composed of 3 buildings in a simple U-shaped layout surrounding a central courtyard. Stemming from the word "SAWA" (tr: marsh) from the area name "KAMIKITAZAWA" (tr: Upper Northern Marsh); a "SAWA" was created in the central courtyard. On rainy days the rock bed changes to a wet color giving a completely different appearance from sunny days.
