The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan) of Japan is one of the facilities that have been built under the plan of Tokyo Academic Park by MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) and METI (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry). The Miraikan is becoming the information communication center for innovational science and technology and serve the plan of national policy based on creativity of science and technology.The facility is comprised of three sections, namely the exhibition zone for introducing the advance science and technology, research zone and communication zone for visitors and researchers. The building is flexible for changes and updates of research and exhibition contents. There is an open entrance hall along the exhibition zone, with escalators connecting to all the floors. There are ten inner light courts inside, bringing natural light and ventilation, as well as a variety of visual communications.
