The Asahi R&D Center in Moriya City has been constructed as a stronghold for research and development of Asahi Group. Considering effects to scenery of surroundings, the Asahi R&D Center has been separated to several small buildings by function. At the same time, green spaces fill the space among the buildings and link each other. Main Research Building which has a round shape  is considered to reduce stress to surroundings.
Each building has adopted Base Isolation System to keep safety of research against strong earthquakes. For advanced flexibilities, expended utility spaces between ceiling and upper floor slab and mechanical balcony have been planed.
