The theme of ‘Aqua World Oarai’ is centered on an “encounter with the sea” at Oarai, unlike many aquariums up to now which have been closed to the marine environs even though located at the seaside. A composition is implemented in which one proceeds along circular a narrative of tanks, and the theme is inserted dimensionally into the architectural space, and before one eyes, you follow the way along the world’s oceans from the sea at Oarai- a design that coordinates a performance of changes in the light and shadow of the space. |
