City hospital relocation project
The block of square-shaped wards is inclined 45 degrees fromthe north axis to minimize impacts on the high-rise habitations in the surrounding neighborhood. Nearby residents have better privacy and less shade from the new hospital building as a result. The principal design concept draws on the healing powers of nature. The healing environment includes a sylvan roof garden, patient waiting area with natural light, and color schemes to enhance the process of natural healing. |
